Nikon Lenses on Canon DSLR? |
Hi,
I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) and some of my friends have a Nikon N-series (film SLRs) and D70. I was wondering if there is anyway I can use their lenses on Canon. Some sort of adapter etc?
If there is something out there, can I use my autofocus functions with the same?
Thanks.
you might check out bhphotovideo.com. if such an adapter exists, i'm sure they would sell it. but bob is right, assuming you could fit the nikon lens on your rebel, you would only be able to shoot in manual mode. and i think you set apertures on nikon lenses, not in the camera body, like canon does.

I've never seen an adaptor for that swap. You would lose so many of the camera's automatic exposure and AF features that it probably wouldn't be feasible.
